My goal was to continually run the entire marathon, in other words -
no walking. I only missed that goal by virtue of the very last hill
approaching mile 26. A couple of minutes was lost at mile 22 where
nature called me to stop to get rid of some Gatorade. Other than that,
it was a relatively consistent pace as laid up against the hills.
My chip time was 4:59 and my clock time was 5:02. |
