Running

While I've been a "jogger" most of my adult life, a friend and co-worker inspired me to do something a bit more by running in the 2008 Big Sur International Marathon. Thanks to his motivation, I've acquired the running bug. While I am a slow by comparison, I enjoy the opportunity to get outside and go running.

On April 26, 2008 I ran the Big Sur International Marathon.
On October ??, 2008 I ran the City to Sea Half Marathon
On December 6, 2008 I ran the Death Valley Borax Marathon.
On April 26, 2009 I ran the Big Sur International Marathon again.
On October 11, 2009 I ran the City to Sea Half Marathon again.
On November 15, 2009 I ran the Meridian Wine Vine Half Marathon

Meridian Wine Vine Half

The Wine Vine half-marathon was a beauty to run. There were a few "unadvertised" hills which made it quite a challenge for me. The start was a roller-coaster ride. I kept to my 10 minute pace as usual and enjoyed the views. For the "1st annual", Meridian Vineyards did a wonderful job with tons of volunteers.
